How minutes are counted

Minutes are listening minutes — time the app is actively listening to a call, not wall-clock time since you opened it. A 45-minute interview where you listen throughout consumes roughly 45 minutes. Starting the app, setting up your profile, reading a past session transcript and browsing your account cost nothing.

Practice rounds draw from the same balance, and that is intentional rather than an oversight. The practice round is what makes the real one work: it is where you find out that your Bluetooth headset takes the call audio off the system output, or that your conferencing client updated and changed how it captures the screen. Discovering either of those in a real interview is expensive in a way that minutes are not.

The Interview Pass is sized for a single interview loop. Job Hunt Pro is sized for an active search running several processes at once. CueNova Elite runs until you receive an offer, under a fair usage policy.

Why passes rather than a subscription

Interview tooling has an unusual usage shape. You need it intensely for two to six weeks, and then — if it worked — you do not need it again for two years. A monthly subscription monetises the months after you stopped using it, which is why almost every product in this category defaults to one.
